Book Morocco Trips is a family-run tour operator based in Casablanca, Morocco. This page explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and the choices you have. If you have any question, write to [email protected] or message us on WhatsApp at +212 659 883 076.
What we collect
When you send a trip request through our contact form, we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, number of travelers, travel dates, starting city, accommodation preference and your message. We also record the date and time of the request and your IP address, which we use only to block spam and abuse of the form.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools on this website, and we do not set cookies when you browse it. Our security provider, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary cookie to protect the site against automated attacks.
Why we use it
- To answer your request and prepare your itinerary and quote. We process your details because you asked us to, as a step before a possible booking (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To keep the website secure. We use IP addresses to limit spam and abuse, which is in our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We never sell your information or use it for advertising. We will only send you marketing messages if you ask us to.
Who processes it for us
- Namecheap: hosts this website and its database.
- Cloudflare: delivers and protects the website.
- Google (Gmail): your request is emailed to our Gmail inbox so we can reply.
These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. They do so under their own data-protection terms, which include safeguards for international transfers. If you book a trip, we share only what is needed (for example your name and dates) with the hotels, camps and guides who deliver it.
How long we keep it
Trip requests stored on this website are deleted automatically 24 months after they are received. If you book with us, we keep the booking details for as long as we need them to run your trip and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your information, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive a copy of it. Email [email protected] and we will reply within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to a data-protection authority, for example the authority in your EU country or Morocco’s CNDP.
Changes
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
